Terms of Service
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using SPEDschedules, you agree to these terms. If you are using the app on behalf of a school or district, you confirm you are permitted to do so.
2. Who may use SPEDschedules
The app is intended for elementary (PreK–6) special education teachers and the school staff they invite, such as paraprofessionals. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information.
3. Accounts and invited users
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Paras you invite can view the schedules you share with them and manage their own calendar entries, such as planned time off. You may revoke access at any time.
4. Subscription, pricing, and billing
- Early access pricing is $6 per month or $60 per year, billed through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
- You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep full access until then.
- Plan changes between monthly and yearly are handled in the Stripe billing portal.
- There is no free trial. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Without an active subscription, your account moves to read-only mode: you can still view everything you have built, but you cannot add or change records.
- Because this is early access, pricing may change for future periods. We will give notice before any change affects your renewals.
5. Your content
You own the schedules, records, and logs you enter. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content in order to operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for confirming that entering it complies with your district's policies and applicable privacy laws.
The app is designed to use Student IDs or student numbers rather than student names. Please follow that practice.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another account's data.
- Do not probe, scan, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Do not upload malicious code or unlawful content.
- Do not resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
7. AI features
AI import assistants help extract schedule structure from files you provide. Output is a draft: you must review and confirm it. AI does not set subject priorities—that judgment stays with you and your building rules. We make no guarantee that AI output is complete or accurate.
8. Compliance disclaimer
SPEDschedules helps you plan schedules and log service delivery, but it does not provide legal, clinical, or compliance advice and does not guarantee compliance with IEP requirements, IDEA, FERPA, HIPAA, or state rules. You and your district remain responsible for compliance and for your official records.
9. Availability and changes
Features are actively being developed and may change, break, or be removed during early access. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders of significant changes.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users.
